Due for completion in summer 2015, and affectionately referred to as ‘The Iceberg’ within the studio at DWA, half of this 16,000 sqft new build dwelling is below ground incorporating a fantastic Basement extending way beyond the boundaries of the building above and including a Display Garage, Swimming Pool and leisure facilities. Above ground, living accommodation is split over three floors.

The architecture of the building is a modern interpretation of a traditional timber framed dwelling with  materials such as solid oak framing and lime render sensitively contrasted with aluminium and glass.

A profound knowledge of historic building techniques and styles is key to ensuring this building displays quality above and beyond that of a pastiche replication.
